Singapore is the queen of Detail. The people that came from Malaysia, from Portugal, England, China and the fishermen that once lived in this former poor and undeveloped island.

AMIGAS

MANNERS AND ETIQUETTE

I’m here for a new phase of my life around Asia. Discovering the beauties of cultural differences. What do you do when you meet new people for instance? Do you kiss them, do you give a hand shake, and do you bow yourself? This is one of the things I’m working on... International protocol, attitudes, manners and Etiquette. It is so important for people that work around the world to know this feature as breathing! I’m very glad to have spent time studying, mesmerising myself on it. Now I just need to go further and further around Asia behaviour, every day more globalized.

COLONIAL SINGA PURA

When Sir Thomas Raffles arrived to Singapore in 1819 to make the Island a Bastion of his empire - the British Empire, the city transformed into a hub for Southeast Asia which brought a huge amount of Chinese inhabitants for work. Now the city has more than 70 per cent of Chinese people. And the mandarin is the language spoken.

SINGA PURA

I have a Stunning view for my Hotel GALLERY; it is a wonderful hotel that it is at the same time an art Gallery, with a fashion restaurants and bars. You should check out on the net it worth it! I’m in the Glass Room. Singapore it is extremely beauty at night. The same freedom and the same comfort.

SINGAPORE

SINGA + PURA

Do you know that Singa is lion and Pura is city in the ancient Malay language?
So, city of the Lion here I am. A former poor island of fisherman is now a fishery of business, comfort houses, growing affairs city and a travelling Hub. Clean, as clean as I never have seen in my life (note I was never in Switzerland!)
Nice people, the Singapore Chinese are very open minded and very gentle. We find a very good food and a new race the Eurasians! That I will write about it these days!
Impressive city for her organization! You know me; I like organized things as much as I like the unpredictable. Both stunned me. I’m a paradox as a person so the differences, the black, and white and the colourful create a strong feeling inside of my perception. Organization is not boring it is a kind of freedom as well. We feel in Singapore one unusual freedom. 0% criminal rate.
Actually it is a Lion city as the way of being: it conquers her space at the same time offers comfortable surroundings for those who decide to live in it. I’m impressed. In Portuguese Singapore is writen in the right way> SINGAPURA

Tudo é Viagem, tudo é Busca

Rider Haggard

Goodbye Thailand ... for now

One phase of my trip to Asia has gone! The Vacations one!

Now work is going to start in another Culture wit different eyes that already are changing me forever!

James Bond Island

This Island was the place where part of the movie the James Bond - the Man with the golden Gun with Roger Moore as 007. I was impressed how a movie changes a lace completely, comparing to the caves and the Phangang bay this was a touristic place where the boats stopped for the Scenery. However I loved the swim until the big rock in those light green waters. Natural

Caves at the Bay

We visited with the canoe some amazing and mysterious natural arcades and caves which lead us to beautiful secret places of echo and silence. The only sound we could hear was our own voice.

PHANGANG BAY AMAZING VIEW

Maybe the most beautiful sceneries I have ever seen. I went canoeing

Patong

Patong Beach and Kata

Everything was still destroyed, no more arms or legs from the destroyed resorts in 2004 Tsunami but the scenery was quite provocative. Phuket and Patong beach are nothing more than beautiful sand and sea, reconstructed avenues and resorts, and a prostitution night with occidental guys and Thai girls, usually younger. Girls that they “rent” for a week vacation. It was nice to have stayed at Kata Beach were we found excellent seafood, a very nice relaxing environment and of course the sweet smiles of Thai people.

Sweet Sea

The Way to Andaman Sea

The Way to Andaman Sea!
After a good dive into the east coast we started the hard journey to go the other coast. First 4 hours by boat until Don Sak pier. After we took a kind of strange cab similar to the ones we saw in Bangkok usually called TukTuk. We arrived to Surat Thani and stayed there for one hour wanting the transfer to Phuket and Kata Beach where we planned to stay! We met an Austrian Girl very nice, Gaby, which helped us to have a less cavalry trip! But keep smiling and after all it was an excellent experience of cultural touches and inside conversation with locals.

Island of Koh Phangan, Thailand Bay: Beaches from the movies, comfortable sea that covers us like a warm blanket and makes us dream with freshness, calm and peace. Traveling makes me the person I am, makes me believe what always I had inside: runaway shoes, a discover woman from the XV century heart and admiration with the world we live in: What a beautiful world!

Bangkok

Bangkok is a traffic jammed city! Full of cars and people driving their motorbikes, mixed with taximeters and Tuku Tuku (motorbikes taxis) which grab the tourists around the city. The temples are full of life and we actually believe that are some angels living there. I was totally amazed with the klongs, the canals around the Chao Praya River that took me away from the city to get in a “Thai” environment. Another world, another way of being, another culture … and just another spirit too.

Achille Castiglioni

Grazie Achille

MILAN

It was hard work in Milan but an amazing working experience where people fly about beauty, that sensations are substitutes for the projects where heart, sensibility and strongest feeling works along the mind and the personal intelligence and creation. Devotion!

LIFE CHANGES

I’ll be out of home for 7 months for a project implementation about productivity, color and design, following the work I do in my company www.blutsamp.com . Now I’m in Milan until the end of this month and then I will fly to Hong Kong as a base and “Asia in general” as destination. I will have to visit the Interior Design Fairs in Tokyo, Macao, Seoul and Bangkok and to research and write several papers about the project. The work will be followed by different Asian Companies and Universities. So if you want news just email me and you always find me here at this non static Blog that will be traveling with me.
I will keep as much as possible the English as main language, knowing that sometimes the language of a specific country where you are influences you to write differently. You know me, each day is a day and today it is a special day.
I made it! I had objectives for the 07.07.2007.
After a 2006, so complicated in terms of health. I made decisions. Continuing to be there for my friends, the real ones, who were with be in the good and bad moments and who surprise me with emails and SMS always when I’m not expecting it and even if we do not see each other for a long time. Learn how to do better choices. There were a lot of people in my life that were just personal expectations not reality “We cannot be friends of every colleagues, not every colleagues are our friends and there are plenty of people that do not like us and that we do not like, that’s normal, we cannot please everything nor everyone” . The real life always comes to the top of the water, so I toke out the cables of situations, places, people and work that were stilling my energy and polluting my mind. I toke difficult decisions, but life are made from them too. Other objectives were to be happy and honest with myself, to act in the present day as it was my last day, to be aware that we do not live forever so I would live the life I want for me and not the life the “others” could conceive for me, I would defiantly continuing writing, designing active projects, having new ideas, implementing new things, just continuing creating and being healthy!I HAD A DREAM and I’m following it everyday.
Carpe Diem my friends and thanks for your inspiration, I am very happy.
